Seana Moran
Senior Project Manager
Seana Moran is senior project manager of Envisioning Innovation in Education. Her scholarship focuses on creative collaboration, ethics in creativity, youth purpose development and education, wisdom from a systems perspective, and applied interactions among multiple intelligences. She works with UNESCO on social-emotional learning and with scholars worldwide on youth purpose development programming, including co-leading a project in Chile to design, implement and evaluate nonformal collaborative educational experiences for youth who are unhoused or have dropped out of school. Seana has led 3 grant-funded projects including a six-country study of youth purpose and service-learning and a simulator study of wisdom-in-action, co-authored/edited 7 books, and produced 60+ book chapters, journal papers, and encyclopedia entries. Previously, she was invited to Clark University’s psychology faculty to stimulate curricular and pedagogical innovation related to integrative thinking, collaboration, creativity, and social responsibility, and held research fellowships at Stanford, Harvard, and MIT/Singapore University of Technology and Design.
